Biomensio - Software Development Engineer

Biomensio is looking for a self-motivated and proactive Software Development Engineer to work in a recently established sensor development team in Espoo. Your role involves development of the signal processing, algorithms, databases and embedded software for the bioanalyzer. In addition, you will be working with hardware development related to the handheld-reader. Based on data, you will research and establish the best practices for signal processing. In addition, you will work within the quality systems.

We are looking for:

  • Technical studies from relevant field (e.g. software development, automation, signal processing, bioinformation technology)
  • Prior experience with embedded software development
  • Understanding of signal processing
  • Solid programming skills at least in one of the following languages: C, C++ or Python
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to explore new things with a multidisciplinary team
  • Fluent skills in English

We consider as an advantage:

  • Prior experience in hardware development
  • Know-how in FBAR/SMR, ASIC and/or microfluidic technologies
  • Industrial experience
  • Previous experience in working within ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 environment
  • Understanding a bit of spoken Finnish
